Don’t Want to Break Down Used Boxes? No Problem!

Before disposing of used boxes you are typically required to flatten them.  Recyclers, garbage collectors, pickup services, and individuals usually expect flattened boxes.

While most people are happy to break down boxes since they are bulky and difficult to store, some prefer to not bother.  The latest upgrade to BoxCycle supports listing boxes without breaking them down first.  BoxCycle will show these boxes to buyers as “Not Flat” and will reduce the list price by 20%.

At this time, there is no option to specify “Not Flat” at listing time.  You need to contact us after you create the listing so we can adjust it for you.

It is likely that most buyers will still prefer flattened boxes.  You may want to set your Rev-Share with Buyer to a higher percentage to provide extra incentive for buyers to take bulky boxes off your hands.
